Question 1

What file types can I upload?

Accepted Answer

PDF, DOCX, TXT, HTML, and Markdown. Scanned PDFs work too — we use Azure OCR to extract text from images. Maximum file size is 50 MB per file.

Question 2

How accurate are the AI-generated quizzes?

Accepted Answer

Lumina IQ retrieves the most relevant passages from your actual document before generating questions, so answers are grounded in your source material — not hallucinated. You can always click a source to verify.

Question 3

Is my data private?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Your documents are stored in your own Supabase project with row-level security. We never share your content with third parties. You can delete any document — and its vectors — at any time.

Question 4

Does it work on mobile?

Accepted Answer

The web app is fully responsive — it works in any modern mobile browser. A native mobile app is on our roadmap.

Question 5

Can I use it offline?

Accepted Answer

Lumina IQ requires an internet connection for AI processing (chat, quiz generation, embeddings). Spaced-repetition reviews work offline once cards are loaded.
